Believing in the power of beautiful design.

Vintage and Retro – Every one of the Vintage or Retro Homewares, Rare Collectables or Unusual Curiosities that I sell in my shops has been sourced by me for your delight.  I am constantly on the hunt for attractive and unusual pottery, china and glass that still has a useful purpose for your home or which is beautiful enough to enhance or complete your collection. If you have a question about an item then please message me and i will get back to you as quickly as I can.

Descriptions you can trust – I am not an expert in any particular area of vintage so I always research items to ensure that I provide as accurate a description of their provenance as possible. Some vintage items come with blemishes or flaws resulting from the life they have lead up to the point when I picked them.  I always aim to photograph and describe any wear and tear to enable you to make an informed choice before you buy.

Care Instructions – Before photographing and listing items I always check them over and give them an appropriate clean. This means hand washing for china, glass and especially pottery which should never be placed in the dishwasher. Metal and wood items are given a wipe over but where a patina is part of the appeal this will be maintained where possible and deeper cleaning will be left to the discretion of the buyer and stated in the listing.

Packing and Postage – All fragile items are first wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap before being packed in a new, quality cardboard box with newspaper or other cushioning.  I use Royal Mail and aim to always offer you the best value service for your chosen item.  If possible I will combine postage for multiple purchases if the costs remain reasonable to you to do so and items can be packed safely together. I aim to post within two working days of your payment clearing (excluding Bank Holidays and weekends), and will confirm dispatch with your tracking number so you can plan for the delivery.
