Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

As 2019 ebbs away and we welcome in a new year and a new decade, I wanted to wish everyone all the best for the coming year.

I am not one for resolutions to change or improve as I fear that ingrained habits are nearly always too hard to break and new ones too difficult to cultivate. I also think that often the behaviour we want to alter, unless it could lead to ill health, is probably not too much of a vice anyway and everything in moderation makes for an interesting life.

So, I’m just going to state that this year I will try to get out into nature a little more, especially as I live by the sea which means the view is hardly ever the same two days in a row. A bracing walk on a morning when the waves are crashing on the shore, or a stroll along the prom with an ice cream cone in the summer sun will do more good for my mind and body than the disappointment of unrealistic goals not achieved.

And I’ll be sure to take my camera along and maybe even a few select pieces of beautiful vintage, so watch out for new images coming soon.

Happy New Year!
